http://pixvid.me/JammedDisposal Is your garbage disposal jammed? This is something we’ve all experienced at some point. Watch for some helpful tips as to how you can fix a jammed garbage disposal. It is important that you DO NOT reach inside the disposal as you may be seriously injured.
First, locate the reset button on the bottom side casing of your disposal or insinkerator. If this doesn’t work, turn off the power switch and shut off power at the circuit breaker.
Also at the bottom of the disposal you’ll find a keyhole where you can insert an allen/hex wrench. Slowly turn the hex wrench back and forth until the blades within the disposal once again move freely. Then, turn on the circuit breaker again and give it a test.
Some plumbing problems are best left to the experts. Know your limits, and if you need help, you can easily schedule an appointment at our website @ http://www.rotorooter.com or by calling 1-888-302-4368.
